Managed People Solutions is looking to hire
a Sales and Capability Manager for a very well-known
Liquor Company based in
Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Responsibilities


Conduct Training needs analysis using survey, field visits and engagement with customers, SLT (sales leadership team), FSM (field sales manager), Trade marketing and IT team, vis-à-vis required competencies.

Formulate training strategy and plan that are aligned with business strategies and organizational objectives.

Develop training programs and script for train-the-trainer session.


Monitor & review training programs and modify & refine the content where appropriate in response to the market's changing needs.

Develop mechanism to evaluate training effectiveness and impact (e.g. survey).


Run the post training tests, participants' satisfaction survey and analyse the result to evaluate effectiveness and impact of each training program.

Inclusive of portfolios of evidence.

Deliver training as per training plan including "train-the-trainer" sessions


Monitor and improve quality of training done by RSM/FSM to ensure high standards of training delivery and consistency of the message.

Evaluate performance of training participants to assess understanding effectiveness of the training methodology & future training needs.

Assist RSM and FSM to develop Individual Development Plan for their team.

Develop, communicate and manage annual training calendar and enrolment process.


Prepare and present monthly training report to GSE and HR to include participation, current training line up, pending requests and training results (may also include other items as needed).

Assist GSE to develop annual sales strategy, execution plan and revise competency requirement for the sales organization.


Conduct sales diagnostic exercise annually to identify next developmental / improvement areas and feedback this information to develop annual sales strategy.


Communicate the confirmed and approved execution standard and KPI per channel and feed this information to development of training programs.

Work closely with frontline sales managers to implement best practice tools and technology.


Manage sales force development agenda through development and implementation of the learning academy and other learning initiatives including coaching, mentoring, self-initiated learning courses and in-classroom trainings.


Requirements:


Tertiary Education:

  • Diploma / Degree relating to Sales Management.
  • Sales Training.
  • Minimum 5 years FMCG sales manager experience.
  • Training Experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales representative experience at a high performance level.
  • Experience in the liquor/ wine industry (Beneficial)
  • Cross functional knowledge and experience within sales departments (Beneficial)
