    Job Overview

    The HNW Team based in Stellenbosch seeks a banker to source and acquire new high-net-worth clients, articulating and selling our client's value proposition. This role requires an understanding of HNW individuals' financial position and the ability to identify opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sourcing new business through cold calling, extracting value from existing clients, networking, and referrals
    • Meeting specified budget and targets per activity
    • Delivering a quality CRM service to existing clients
    • Presentation of products and services to clients
    • Providing financial advice on lending products, local and international banking requirements, treasury, and forex
    • Acting as a connector and enabler for clients' needs within our organization

    Requirements:

    • Fluency in Afrikaans
    • Tertiary degree in Finance or Accounting (BCom Honours or LLB)
    • At least 5-6 years of experience in Private Banking
    • In-depth knowledge of credit and deal structuring
    • Ability to network within the organization and internationally
    • Wealth Management and Structured Property Finance experience advantageous
    • Awareness and management of compliance and regulatory frameworks
    • Strong people skills and passion for socializing and networking
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and within a team environment
    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
    • Good marketing and cross-selling skills
    • Experience in compiling credit packs
