We are a respected professional membership organisation seeking a proactive and solutions-driven Administrator to support our operations, governance structures, and member services.
This is a fixed-term contract position to provide support while the current incumbent is on maternity leave. The role requires 3–5 years' experience and the ability to manage administrative responsibilities with precision, while also supporting selected financial administration functions.
Main responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to management and committees
- Prepare meeting documentation and take accurate minutes
- Manage member queries and maintain databases
- Organise and support event administration and logistics
- Assist with invoicing, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping
Requirements
- Formal degree/diploma in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
- Proven experience in membership management or a related administrative role with a minimum of 3 years working experience.
- Strong organisation, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in membership management software and CRM systems.
- Team orientated with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals.
- South African citizen or holder of a valid work permit.
- Willingness to travel
