Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and health and safety standards specific.
  • Regularly review and remain compliant and up to date on company HR policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee concerns promptly and fairly.
  • Mediate disputes and grievances between employees and management to maintain relations and minimize work disruptions.
  • Partner with site HR (P.E.) and departmental managers to identify workforce needs to ensure an effective succession and staffing plan.
  • Follow standardised onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the working environment.
  • Collaborate with payroll and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits.
  • Manage the employee performance review process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Requirements to succeed in the position.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner or similar HR Management role, where you were responsible for managing a team.
  • Experience in a Mining, Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering environment preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and change management.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
