    Senior Graphic Designer

    About the Role:

    This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Graphic Designer to support our team leader in overseeing the graphics department and create visual concepts using computer software.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and publications
    • Create visual concepts that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers
    • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and strict adherence to internal controls
    • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting accurately and timeously
    • Achieve company strategic objectives, goal plans, and targets

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design (desirable)

    Key Performance Areas:

    Operational:

    • General design work (posters, flyers, merchandise, and other marketing material)
    • Create images aligned with marketing strategy and brand strategy
    • Liaise with printers regarding artwork and colors, layout, quality, paper etc.
    • Approve print runs executed by printers against initially approved artwork

    People:

    • Enforce an ethical, honest, transparent, fair work environment
    • Sourcing training for staff as needed
    • Adequate recognition of staff efforts
    • Talent retention through role creation and career path planning
    • Sustainable morale and team building

    Compliance, Risk, and Quality:

    • Create, maintain, and enforce company policies and procedures
    • Ensure logical saving of all work, designs, artwork, approvals etc.
    • Ensure error-free designs with accurate content
    • Ensure designs are free from racial, gender bias, derogatory, and defamatory comments

    Growth and New Markets/Products:

    • Maintain technical knowledge through design workshops, professional publications, and participating in professional societies
    • Keep abreast with competitor activity, market innovation, market trends, customer trends
    • Ensure measures are put in place to achieve short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals
    • Product innovation and new service offerings to customers
