    Description

    Job Summary:

    To lead the procurement process by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and sourcing from qualified suppliers. This role is responsible for developing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and drive cost savings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze market trends and assist in budget planning to inform procurement decisions.
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and meet business objectives.
    • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and BBBEE targets.
    • Lead tender processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
    • Manage supplier relationships and performance.
    • Contribute to the development of commodity strategies aligned with the Group's goals.
    • Enhance procurement processes and systems to improve efficiency.
    • Foster strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across departments.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, preferably with a reputable organization.
    • A relevant advanced diploma or national degree.
    • Possession of CIPS or MCIPS certifications is advantageous.

    Competencies:

    • Strong decision-making, communication, and project management skills.
