Description

Our client, a vibrant, thriving startup, is seeking a driven, dynamic, organized Community Manager and Assistant to join their team at their offices in Durbanville.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage our community and engage members through community initiatives, online events, and regular updates
  • Promote our brand name through various Twitter Spaces campaigns and scouting
  • Twitter for interesting market updates in the NFT, crypto, and web3 tech industries
  • Be active on Twitter to stay on top of market trends, engage with the Serum community, join Twitter Spaces to talk about Serum, and interact with people
  • Assist with daily general tasks that may arise, such as scheduling meetings conducting research, and creating reports
  • Monitor and analyze community feedback and provide recommendations for improvements to community engagement efforts
  • Work with the marketing team to create effective community engagement strategies
  • Maintain a positive and engaging tone in all community interactions

Qualifications Required:


  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in community management or social media marketing, preferably in the web3 industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with community members
  • Indepth knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Twitter, and proficiency in creating engaging content
  • Experience with community engagement initiatives, online events, and managing community feedback
  • Understanding of NFT, crypto, and web3 tech industries
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Web3 knowledge is a plus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Durbanville,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)


Education:


  • Bachelors (preferred)
