Sales Agent - Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa - MIT Auto Parts
Description
The primary purpose of this role is to sell the MIT product portfolio by proactively and reactively offering products to customers, thereby contributing effectively and efficiently to the MIT sales process.
Role:
Sales
Service the call center for sales purposes (includes but not limited to sales orders, quotations, etc.)
Proactively sales - sell and promote new items, redundant items, damaged items and promotions to customers
Customer relationship management
Assist with and resolve all sales related queries from customers
Business growth and development of allocated and new customers
Sales and forecasting analysis
Liaise with internal departments on all sales related matters
Business and market intelligence
Build business intelligence in relation to products, pricing and customer information
Knowledge sharing related to topics within the industry
Other
Any task handed to him on an ad hoc basis by the sales manager or team manager
All relevant reporting to sales management
Required:
Matric
Sales / marketing related qualification (advantageous)
Two + years of sales experience preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
Two + years of call centre experience
Two + years of automotive parts experience (advantageous)
Exposure to SAP
Computer literate
Functional numeracy and literacy
