    Description

    Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking

    To provide specialized services related to business, commercial, wealth and investments, as well as credit management, with a focus on end-to-end remedial management of enterprise-wide distressed debt exposures.

    The goal is to develop and implement solutions that address these distress situations within the Business and Commercial Banking segment, either in-house or through formal business rescue proceedings under the Companies Act, within assigned personal mandates.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies for managing distressed debt exposures
    • Analyze complex financial data to identify opportunities for recovery
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective solutions
    • Work with external parties, such as creditors and legal representatives, to negotiate and implement recovery plans
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

    Requirements:

    • First degree in Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting, or Legal field
    • 5-7 years of experience in Business and Commercial Banking credit environment, preferably in Credit/Risk Assessment, Client Relationship, or Recoveries role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team
