    Key Responsibilities

    • To oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms, public, and back-of-house areas are well-maintained and cleaned.
    • To train and supervise housekeeping staff in accordance with hotel standards and policies.
    • To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all rooms are clean and tidy, and all guest needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • To identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the relevant departments.
    • To maintain accurate records of housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff performance.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Experience in housekeeping supervisory/manager role.
    • Prior experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is desirable.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent and be 18 years of age or older.
    • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join MANTIS as a Housekeeping Department Head. As a key member of the hotel team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in our guest rooms and public areas.

    You will work closely with the Front Office Manager/ Rooms Division Manager/ General Manager to manage the housekeeping and laundry department, ensuring that all guest rooms, public, and back-of-house areas are well-maintained and cleaned.

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
