Description
High end game lodge in the Hoespruit area is looking for a Lodge Anchor. The core function of the lodge anchor is to host the guest and manage all aspects of their stay to maximize guest delight

  • Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge
  • Managing, Overseeing Staff with the General Manager
  • Staff training and development
  • Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
  • Hosting Duties
  • Allocation of Airport Transfers
  • Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
  • Stock control and stock takes
  • Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures
  • Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD and General Manager
  • Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically
  • Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard
  • Assist with Events planning and execution
  • Assist with menu planning and cost control

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Big 5 reserve and 4 star lodge necessary
  • ResRequest experience will be beneficial
  • Valid RSA Driver's License
  • Exceptional Guest Relations skills
  • Ability to manage staff
  • Understanding and ability to manage the different departments
  • Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
  • Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control
