Description

  • OneX is looking for a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium and Jira to join our innovative development team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our software products through the implementation of automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for both new and existing features.

Execution of Automated Tests: Execute automated test scripts and analyze results, promptly identifying and communicating any issues to the development team.

Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments, ensuring they accurately represent the production environment.

Defect Reporting and Documentation: Document and track defects, providing detailed information to assist in the resolution process.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to test automation. Propose and implement improvements to the testing process.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Advantageous.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like Java, Python, or Ruby.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
