- Design, approve and revise suitable mining layouts and support according to rock engineering principles
- Conduct routine quality control testing of support systems
- Compile and submit legal reports to applicable statutory bodies
- Investigate and conduct feasibility studies for improvement projects
- Manage and coordinate accident and incident investigations
- Grade 12
- BEng Honours Degree in Mining Engineering/Geology
- SANIRE and ECSA registration
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in Geology/Rock Mechanics or Mining
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Salary: negotiable
