About the Role:

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of cloud technology across the group.

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary Degree
Relevant certification/accreditation/membership with professional body as required for role
3+ years' experience in cloud finops, or equivalent related to finops
3+ years' experience in relevant sector/industry/area of specialisation
10+ years overall experience in IT with proven experience in Cloud
Proficiency in Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and related concepts on the public cloud.
Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud environments
Working knowledge / Hands-on experience of financial modelling / analysis, cloud-native and 3rd party cloud cost management & advisory tools
Sound knowledge of cost optimization levers, and value realization frameworks
Experience with cloud economics, cloud service and pricing models
Understanding of the basic Finance & Accounting principles - budgeting, accruals, NPV, ROI
Associate or higher-level certification of public cloud providers
Experience in working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous

Responsibilities:

Establish, document and drive adoption of the cloud processes, standards, policies, and governance model across the group to cloud resource utilisation
Define cloud resource usage policies that impact the cloud billing (e.g. Cloud Consumption Policy, Resource Tagging Policies etc.)
Build Cloud Services budget and track actual and forecasted costs
Define value realization framework; Track and report key cloud spend metrics to stakeholders
Provide guidance on data-driven opportunities to optimize cloud resource utilisation and costs - consumption, resource utilization monitoring, as required
