Description

SBV Seeks PMC Settlement Specialist who will be Responsible for settlement system monitoring, including escalations, reporting, optimal system operation, system file monitoring and communications regarding experienced and potential issues.


Settlement System and SARB Vault Monitoring

  • Understand the tool, methodology, integration components, impact and capabilities end to end
  • Monitor Settlement files and SARB Vault Certificates on a daily basis and escalate where necessary
  • Track and Manage client settlement queries until resolution
  • Identify, review and escalate any settlement system issues to relevant parties for resolution
  • Update record of daily issues faced, including details of resolution process
  • Provide Start of day (SOD), end of day (EOD) and clear communication notifications regarding daily and potential issues to all relevant parties
  • Manage settlements across the country for all settlements to be successfully processed and if not escalate within stipulated timeframes
  • Provide regular training to centre employees on how to avoid errors/issues
  • Track wholesale, retail and payroll settlements that occurs on the respective system until completion
  • Manage order integration and settlements daily for centres
  • Manage ATM, SARB and other files relating to operations
  • Manage the Applications to avoid issues and/or settlement failures
  • Manage the Vet report/s and advise centres where necessary
  • Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to source technology solutions for the business
  • Integrate all files on the Settlement or any other related systems within the operations space

Monitoring of ATM daily files

  • Track ATM files for successful integration onto the Settlement System and investigate any errors or delays
  • Identify related issues timeously
  • Escalate and manage potential issues to relevant parties and track until fully resolved

Information Control and Support

  • Provide basic guidance to relevant PMC staff and/or other stakeholders regarding the use of systems and daily capturing
  • Identify the relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and collaborate with management to form an effective knowledge management database
  • Liaise with the stakeholders on a continuous basis for high priority incidents
  • Adhere to escalation and communication matrix for critical support issues
  • Implement and maintain regular proactive daily/weekly/monthly measures to reduce potential failure points
  • Compile, submit and present reports on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis
  • Identify problem areas then devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service to prevent future problems

Maintain the PMC Area when required to do so

  • Check that monitors are on and displaying the relevant data required
  • Escalate issues that hinder effective operation of the PMC. i.e. network connectivity issues, screens not working, system related problems, etc.

Build and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships

  • Create and maintain sound centre relationships
  • Liaise with centres regarding data collection, verification, escalations as well as operational requirements
  • Assist centres with PMC related queries until resolution
  • Build relationships with relevant support team to be able to further understand escalated and experienced issue

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Create reports/presentations as defined or requested by management
  • Assist management with collection/correlation of adhoc reports/data, and information
  • Assist with general PMC admin and additional assistance if required
  • Track PMC data reports, followup to check if remediation has taken place and escalate where necessary
  • Assist with all other reporting requests as and when required
  • Distribute dashboard reports daily, weekly and monthly as required

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience


With Grade 12:

  • 5 Years' experience in managing a settlement system which includes:
  • Maintenance of the system end to end o Managing stakeholder engagement
  • Resolving issues autonomously
  • Basic statistical analysis (graphical presentations, trend analysis)
  • With A Diploma:
  • 2 Years' experience in managing a settlement system

Minimum Requirements:
Education


  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting Or
  • A Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Statistics

Special Training or Requirements

  • Intermediate MS Office
  • Able to work Overtime
