    Job Description

    The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, with a minimum of a Matric certificate.

    In addition to this, they must have prior experience as a Maintenance Manager, showcasing their ability to effectively manage maintenance activities.

    Excellent attention to detail and adherence to good hygiene practices are essential in this role.

    The candidate must demonstrate a customer-centric approach and possess a solid understanding of guest focus philosophy.

    A thorough knowledge of maintenance-related subjects is required, including carpentry and building maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, water treatment, swimming pool filtration and water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, gas heating, hand and power tool operation, diesel generators and pumps, building maintenance, appliance and equipment repair, workplace safety, and emergency procedures.

    They should also be well-versed in stock control and management procedures.

    Strong planning, budgeting, administrative, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.

    The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, who can take the initiative to lead by example and drive development within the organization.
