Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting the department head with the daytoday tasks involving Surveying, Planning, and drawing of all work accurately for all FTTX, FTTH, FTTB, towers Core, and Infrastructure as required by management.
Manage online and paper filing systems.
Producing reports (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly as per the business unit requirements) & composing correspondence
Collect data and information about the sites and routes of the Fibre optic cable network.
GIS Capturing and general IS Planning on the various system including Map info, Google earth
Drawing site layout indicating proposed route or existing route to be followed.
Update KML Files on Google Earth.
Drawing up of wayleaves (municipal & provincial).
High and Low levels of planning done on Google earth.
Support Field Engineering, cover on call.
Acquire wayleave approval letters from Municipalities and ISPs.

Required Skills:

Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and other commonlyused office packages
Strong IT and typing skills
The ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
Excellent teamwork skills and the confidence to lead and motivate a team and to be Objective at all times.
The ability to manage the workload and supervise others concurrently with an ability to deliver constructive criticism as and when required.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to converse at the Senior and Board level
Negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills
Attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

The salary is market-related and commensurate with experience.

Salary:
R4, R7,000.00 per month
