    Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the centrifugal slurry pump industry, with a strong background in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proposal Validation: Validate and approve proposals on a daily basis to ensure they meet our high standards.
    • Document Management: Manage all documents and trackers for application engineering-related activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication among teams.
    • Induction and Training: Compile induction/training plans for new engineers, including generating documents and presentations for technical and departmental training.
    • Asset Management: Oversee departmental assets, including procurement of tools and regular checks on company vehicles.
    • Feedback and Reporting: Provide weekly feedback on trials, including writing trial reports for management.
    • Warranty Claims: Facilitate and own the warranty claim process, investigating issues with application engineers.
    • Site Support: Join application engineers and sales reps on-site to assist with problematic applications and poor pump performance.
    • Leadership: Guide and lead application engineers in site activities, driving improvements and improvement projects within application engineering.
    • Talent Acquisition: Shortlist, interview, and appoint new application engineers, ensuring we attract top talent.

    Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of experience in the centrifugal slurry pump industry.
    • Strong background in mechanical or metallurgical engineering (B.Eng or equivalent).
    • 2-4 years of experience managing technical teams.
