    We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG and retail, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new ones by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on sales outlets and trade factors.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Servicing existing accounts and obtaining orders by calling on sales outlets and trade factors.
    • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of products, including their features, benefits, and pricing.
    • Merchandising and displaying products in a way that stimulates interest and encourages customers to make purchases.
    • Adjusting sales presentations based on the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
    • Focusing sales efforts on high-volume dealers and identifying opportunities for growth.
    • Submitting orders accurately and efficiently, referring to price lists and product literature as needed.
    • Providing regular activity and results reports to management, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
    • Staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity, gathering information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
    • Recommending changes to products, services, and policies based on sales data and competitive developments.
    • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
    • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training, staying informed about industry developments and best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Matric qualification.
    • 2-5 years of industry experience, preferably in FMCG and retail.
    • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
