Job Desciption:

ITB Flexible Packaging Solutions (ITB) is a flexible plastic packaging manufacturer and part of the Novus Holdings Group. ITB produces an array packaging for the FMCG and food markets.

Its products include retail bags, security bags, FFS food packaging, heavy duty sacks and carrier bags which are distributed across South Africa and abroad.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage all processing for weekly & biweekly entities.
Capture all new employees into VIP and maintain their information therein and process terminations.
Process terminations, AODs, Garnishee orders, Bank account changes, Donation deductions and various other transactions as and when required onto VIP.
Reconcile payroll input before closing payroll. Export payment and general ledger files for Finance Manager.
Printing & distribution of payslips
Month End Reporting for the payrolls including but limited to EMP 201, UIF declarations, PAYE report, UIF report and other monthend related reporting.
Generate salary schedules for UIF purposes.
Maintenance of filing system and assist with internal & external audits.
Assist the Payroll and the HR Staff as and when required.

Educational Requirements:

Have completed Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
Payroll and HR Qualification a prerequisite.

Experience Requirements:

Have a knowledge of VIP Payroll system.
Have at least 2 years' experience in the running of the payroll.
Knowledge of Accsys time and attendance system an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Be Computer literate and be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
Be able to read speak and write English
Good knowledge of VIP Payroll system
