The Opportunity
Join our Technology Consulting team as a Mid-Level Project Manager to support the project management across multiple client projects. You will have the opportunity to enable EY to actively manage the tracking of progress, resources, budgets, risks, etc.

across clients that enable EY to deliver Exceptional Client Service to our clients and ensuring that we manage EY's risk, financials and deliverables.

You'll help to improve engagement profitability, manage enterprise-wide risk and support market development activities. Your project support will include planning, reporting, and forecasting and analysis, and unblock challenges the project resources may face.

You will also work with other parts of our organization, such as Quality & Risk Management teams mitigating risk on allocated projects.

You'll get all the support you need to stay on top of a constantly evolving business environment — and the advice and help to meet your own professional goals.


In this role, you will oversee all recurring accounting processes, implement internal controls, oversee the risk management and project management of the operational responsibilities within our client projects, complete relevant administrative tasks, and support the Engagement Partners to manage client expectations.

This is a role that is highly reliant on detail orientation and confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities
The Project Management Assistant Manager (PMA) must have a good understanding of Project Management (Planning, Implementing, Controlling, Closing, etc.).

  • Works closely with the EP to provide pricing support and develop planned metrics
  • Works with EPs and crossfunctional teams throughout the pursuit, client acceptance and engagement processes to ensure records contain accurate and up to date information

This includes:

Planning Phase

  • Assist Pursuit team with completion, compilation and formatting of pursuit documents.
  • Manage and track the required _Risk Management_ processes within the specified deadlines.
  • Drafting budget and resource plans for individual projects for review and approval by Finance.

Initiate Phase

  • Working with the General Counsel Office (Legal) to facilitate engagement contracting
  • Open Engagement codes and plan resources as identified by the Pursuit Team
  • Manage 3rd Party relationships and contracting
  • Draft the Service Quality Plan for review by Engagement Partner

Delivery Phase

  • Project Management_
  • Facilitate regular project management meetings with project leadership and track, follow up and drive action outcomes_ _
  • Tracking of project deliverables to relevant timelines and budget
  • Finance_
  • Monitoring & approval of weekly timesheets on individual projects
  • Track actual delivery to planned budget to mitigate overruns / scope creep and ensure project remains within budget
  • Monthly billing to clients and completing budget reforecasting on a regular basis, along with other tasks related to financial management of the project
  • Follow up and track payments of invoices related to the project
  • Process adjustments to revenue based on regular discussions with the EPs on budget updates and have a strong understanding of our internal systems
  • Monitors client invoicing and collections, structures best practices around the same, and proactively encourages billing for "outofscope" work
  • Performs ad hoc requests
  • Risk Management_
  • Draft regular Service Quality Health Checks on the project through the SQ Tool for Engagement Partner's review and signoff
  • Manage the document repository for all project documentation (EYDelivers and GEAR)
  • Manage 3rd party relationships and escalate potential risks to engagement partner as they arise
  • Assist with driving the Assessment of Service Quality process with the client

Close Phase

  • Ensure all client invoices are paid and close engagement codes
  • Ensure the close out of the Service Quality Plan and Assessment of Service Quality is finalized with the client
  • Archive all project documentation
