What Can You Expect?

Working hours:

According to store trading hours, you may be required to work 6 days a week according to a shift roster.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Assist customers with their purchasing decisions and product information.
• Make customers feel welcome by always being friendly and polite.
• Inform customers of specials
• Answer and attend to customer queries and complaints

Cash register and purchase management

• Process purchases correctly
• Process dailycash ups

Inventory control and Stock Management:

• Monitoring and counting stock to ensure first stock in is first stock out.
• Confirm that stock received from suppliers is correct and all paperwork is completed.
• Handle product returns according to our procedures.
• Make sure that merchandise displays are meticulously organised at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in the pet industry is a must.
• Willing to work retail hours
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Positive attitude
• Attention to detail
• Great communication and organizational skills
