About the role:


The Sales Manager role at Jabu is responsible for actively managing the sales teams and ensuring that sales targets are met.

This person will work closely with the sales teams to develop and implement sales strategies, and ensure that salespeople are adequately trained and motivated.


Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Establishing and managing three key teams within the same department: customer service team (call center), field agents sales team, and tech trainers for customers.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, including target setting, account management, and lead generation.
  • Managing the sales team, including setting performance goals, providing coaching and feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Providing sales training and development opportunities, including product training, sales techniques, and professional development.
  • Ensuring that the sales team has the resources and support they need to succeed, including tools, systems, and processes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and identifying opportunities for upselling or crossselling additional products and services.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and customer needs, and making recommendations to senior management about new products or services that could benefit the company.

  • Providing leadership and direction to the sales teams, including setting performance goals, providing coaching and feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Providing sales training and development opportunities, including product training, sales techniques, and professional development.
  • Ensuring that the sales teams have the resources and support they need to succeed daily, including tools, systems, and processes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and identifying opportunities for upselling or crossselling additional products and services.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and customer needs, and making recommendations to senior management about new products or services that could benefit the company.

Requirements:


  • Strong leadership skills: A successful Sales Manager should have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage, motivate and mentor a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: A successful Sales Manager should be able to build strong relationships with both customers and team members and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the industry: The best Sales Manager for this role should have a good understanding of the industry trends, customer needs and competitor landscape.
  • Educational background: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications: Relevant certifications in sales, marketing, or management can be a plus.
  • 10 years of experience in a similar role.
