    Job Description:

    Your Mission

    • To design and implement occupational health and wellness programs that support the well-being of employees and contractors in the Midlands Forests Region.
    • C Coordinate Business Unit (BU) Occupational Health Programme, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
    • C Coordinate BU Primary Health Care Programme, incorporating mobile clinics to enhance accessibility.
    • Manage chronic diseases and related wellness matters, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.
    • C Coordinate BU Ergonomic Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    • Monitor compliance with health-related legislation and Mondi standards, fostering a safe working environment.
    • Analyse health trends and report on health campaigns and peer programs, promoting a culture of wellness.
    • Manage Incapacity on Duty (IOD) cases, providing support during rehabilitation and return-to-work processes.
    • Conduct Occupational Health audits on service providers and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
    • Develop and coordinate specific wellness programs tailored to support business objectives.

    Your Profile

    • Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health Nursing, registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
    • Desirable qualifications: Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, and International Trauma Life Support Training.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner, with expertise in program management and stakeholder engagement.
    • Membership with the South African Society of Occupational Health Nurses (SASOHN) and Professional Indemnity insurance.
    • Possess excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage emergencies and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools, with high levels of computer literacy.
    • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and outside regular office hours, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Holding a valid Code EB Driver's License.
