    Lead Officer: Payroll Opportunity

    Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for a Lead Officer: Payroll to join the Finance Department at our Head Office. The suitable candidate should have a B.Com Degree with Accounting and 6 years related experience within payroll with knowledge of financial accounting principles, SAP, and payroll experience in different categories of waged/salaried employees.

    Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

    We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Officer: Payroll with strong technical expertise and leadership abilities. Key qualifications include:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field.
    • At least 6 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a similar industry.

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additionally, they must be proficient in SAP and have a thorough understanding of labour laws and regulations.

    Job Summary

    The Lead Officer: Payroll will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, as well as providing strategic guidance on payroll-related matters. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders, including finance teams, HR, and external suppliers.
