  • Financial Management
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the business, including supplier payments, salary/wage management, forex deals, debtors/creditors, and foreign debtors.
  • Manage and optimize the company's financial resources to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Manage foreign exchange transactions.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis to support decisionmaking.
  • CAPEX: To ascertain capital demand for the business/business units and acquire the funds from shareholders where required.
  • Oversee management thereof within limits.
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies.
  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and present monthly financial management reports and sales statistics to the CEO and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and the compilation of annual reports.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies, implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets and interests.
  • Stay updated on industryspecific risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and taxation.
  • Inventory Management
  • Manage and oversee stock control to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.

Qualifications:


  • A Chartered Accountant (CA), CIMA, or BCom Hons. degree or related qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Financial Management role within a group structure with multiple entities is essential.
  • Previous experience operating at an executive management level is preferred.
  • Previous operational financial management experience within the agricultural, manufacturing, fruit export industry or related industries is preferred.
  • Previous exposure to risk management is essential.
  • Must demonstrate ownership and accountability and drive favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of business beyond the finance sphere.
  • Ability to lead a team and under work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to identify risk and potential financial gains.
  • High level of integrity
  • Must be registered at a professional Body: SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA
