    Description

    Inventory Planner

    We seek a highly skilled Inventory Planner to drive the success of our client's retail business by effectively managing their inbound Supply Chain through strategic supplier account management and product range optimization.

    Duties Responsibilities

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • Data analysis and reporting
    • Promotional planning and replenishment
    • Strategic coordination of supplier accounts to optimize ordering patterns and frequency for maximum profitability
    • Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable accurate forecasting results
    • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers to ensure inventory and service level targets are met
    • Project Management

    Desired Experience Qualification

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • A Matric degree in Supply Chain or a relevant field of study
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain management
    • In-depth product knowledge
    • Exceptional computer literacy, with expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Pivot Tables
    • SAP system knowledge is essential
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
