    About the Role

    An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Technical Valve Sales Specialist to join our national sales team in Johannesburg, reporting to the branch office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical or instrumentation fields, gained through formal education or extensive experience working with flow-related equipment and instrumentation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess client needs and deliver Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) solutions;
    • Provide technical sales expertise and support to clients;
    • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver impactful client presentations;
    • Manage sales calls and maintain high work standards;

    Requirements

    • Technical qualification (N6 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering);
    • At least five years of hands-on experience working with manual and control valves;
    • Familiarity with top-tier equipment such as Actreg, Arca, and JC Valves;
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
    • Demonstrated success in technical sales with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and cycle;
    • Strong communication abilities and commitment to adhering to high work standards;

    Living Requirements

    The successful candidate must be based in Durban, South Africa, as the role involves driving sales growth and client satisfaction within the region.
