    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage key accounts and develop new business within the plastic converting industry on a national scale.
    • Identify and target potential new customers to meet territory sales objectives.
    • Promote products and services to existing key accounts and new customers.
    • Cultivate long-term customer relationships to promote value propositions.
    • Liaise with overseas suppliers and customers for advice and assistance.
    • Follow up on customer requests, orders, stock situations, and all communication.
    • Identify opportunities to grow market share through sales planning and execution.
    • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets through business planning and execution.
    • Monitor and control budgets on a monthly basis.

     

    Requirements

    • Prior experience selling plastic raw materials into the plastic converting manufacturing or related industry is preferred but not essential.
    • A strong commercial and business acumen is required.
    • Must have a good understanding of exchange rate impacts on margin and selling price.
    • Effective communication across all levels is crucial.
