Well established FMCG company in Nasrec, Johannesburg is looking to employ a Quality Control Analyst with 2-3 years experience.

Purpose:

To prioritise, sample, test and release raw & packaging materials, intermediates, and finished products to strict timescales, in order to support the business requirements.

Supporting all Quality activities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE FROM THE FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY AND MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in quality control or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of lab testing techniques, equipment, and instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and report any discrepancies or malfunctions.
  • Follow established SOPs for sample preparation, testing, and data recording to ensure consistency and accuracy in results.
  • Assist in the development and validation of new lab methods and procedures, and participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
