    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to oversee the Treasury, Finance, Procurement, IT, Risk, and Admin functions of our organization.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Accounting as a major.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a finance function.
    • Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Experience with Syspro is an added advantage.
    • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • A motivated team player.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Accounting as a major.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a finance function.
    • Supervisory or management experience is essential.
    • Good knowledge of IFRS.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience with Syspro is an added advantage.

    Accountability:

    Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

    Finance:

    • Manage and oversee the Finance department.
    • Review monthly management accounts.
    • Active involvement in the annual budget process and external audit.
    • Submit VAT for entities.
    • Manage commercial investments via Trust.
    • Financial accounting and reporting.
    • Annual financial statements and compliance adherence.

    Treasury:

    • Administrator for bank accounts.
    • Manage and determine cash flow requirements.
    • Liaise with financial institutions on statutory compliance matters.
    • Monitor and manage cash investments.
    • Authorize weekly/monthly payments.
    • All other Treasury-related matters.

    Admin:

    • Manage administrative functions where needed.
    • Manage office equipment contract renewals.
    • Manage schedule of contracts and SLAs.
    • Facilitate annual insurance renewal.
    • Review claims submitted, ensuring accuracy.
    • Ensure finance processes claims correctly.
    • Represent as SARS Representative for the organization.

    Risk:

    • Track organization risk and compliance, monitoring acceptable levels.
    • Liaise with departments to ensure compliance on risk items.
    • Maintain risk registers and legislation compliance.
    • Prepare quarterly report for Risk Committee.

    Procurement:

    • Manage and oversee personnel and strategic operational functions.

    Information Technology:

    • Manage and oversee IT department and outsourced consultants to meet IT requirements.

    Remuneration:

    R630 000.00 per annum (cost to company) - negotiable
