    Description

    Job Description:

    We specialize in the insurance recruitment industry and are seeking a Claims Consultant for a leading insurance company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Liaise and provide feedback to clients on claim progress.
    • Handle client queries and manage claims from receipt to closure.
    • Validate claims against policy parameters, register new claims, and collect additional information from clients as required.
    • Record details and maintain accurate records within relevant systems.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Facilitate communication between the office and insurance companies.
    • Provide regular reports and maintain effective working relationships with insurers.

    Requirements:

    • Good understanding of underwriting principles and policies.
    • Ability to interpret policy wording and various products.
    • Grade 12/Matric NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
    • Full qualification in short-term insurance as set by regulation (NQF Level 4).
    • RE5 Representatives Exam successfully completed.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in claims handling.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
