Job description and skills:


The role of internal CRM is to ensure that they take over from the sales team and deliver on sales closed by the sales team.

They align with all relevant departments internally to ensure that potential sales are executed to perfection, leading to deal close.

They are also responsible to form close relationships with

clients and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and monitor customer retention through conducting surveys. They are also responsible for cross selling of products to existing customers.


Job description

  • Work with packaging/engineering/ Production/ Quality/ Lab/ marketing and plants to ensure
correct packaging costs are applied to the correct product

  • Conceptualise new products and product enhancements based on input from clients,
laboratory, quality assurance function, own research and procurement team.

  • Contribute towards the creation of our customer value propositions in alignment with product
concepts and overall product strategy.

  • Ensure that costing on all products is accurate
  • Works closely with planning and sales to communicate effectively to clients and ensure
timeous delivery of orders and projects

  • Providing leadership and guidance to team members project specific resources
  • Developing strong relationships and collaborating effectively with internal and external
stakeholders

  • Communicating clearly and effectively with the various teams involved in the relevant projects
  • Manage lifecycle of complex cross location project through completion
  • Actively manage project lifecycle and provide regular status updates
  • Oversee Business Requirements gathering and analysis, and resolution of issues
  • Manage Application Testing, Implementation and support for Operational Readiness

clients regarding manufacturing capabilities

  • Ensure project objectives align to overall business strategies
  • Identify the appropriate deliverables to achieve high speed of adoption, utilization and proficiency
for impacted audiences

  • Monitor deliverables meet intended outcomes and adjust accordingly
  • Develop plans and identify resources and key partners to ensure effective and timely delivery
  • Mitigate business risks and escalate and resolve business issues as they arise
  • Exercises technical leadership for the cross functional team by planning, organizing, scheduling,

  • Interfaces with most internal departments involved in New Product Introduction
  • Manages multiple largescale projects successfully & simultaneously on a consistent basis

  • Work directly with Manufacturing, lab, quality, clients, Production, Marketing, Purchasing
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders and executive management regarding project status,
financial health, risks and mitigation of issues, and dependencies across projects

  • Provide strategic direction and serve as a consulting partner to business functions and other
smaller projects to improve the success of the solution

Skills for Product Development Project Manager

  • Ability to draw up basic Excel models and costing models
  • Basic understanding of Marketing, target segments, value propositions, etc
  • Good understanding of systems thinking and cross functional Operations
  • Ability to use Project management tracking software
  • Capacity needed to accomplish the work
