    About the Role:

    Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our Global Support team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality knowledge base content that enables our customer support teams to resolve customer issues.

    You will work closely with internal groups to identify and document processes, procedures, and customer responses. Your primary responsibilities will include writing and editing internal-user knowledge center content, collaborating with the AWS CS operations team to optimize and maintain internal and external content, and working directly with CS operations and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of knowledge center articles.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, experience using content creation tools to create structured content using templates, and familiarity with cloud computing. You will also have excellent written communication skills and be able to evaluate, uphold, implement, and evangelize content standards that reflect the voice of AWS.

    A Day in the Life:

    As a member of the Global Support team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from creating new knowledge base articles to revising existing ones. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure that our content accurately reflects our products and services.

    • Familiarity with AWS services and passion for the AWS customer experience
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate, uphold, implement, and evangelize content standards
    • Experience using content creation tools to create structured content using templates
