- At least a B.Sc. Agric degree in Soil Science.
- A tertiary qualification in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) will be an added advantage. Experience
- Minimum of 3 years fieldwork as soil surveyor.
- A high level of GIS knowledge, including the use of ESRI suite (ArcGIS), QGIS and Google Earth applications.
- Knowledge in Ag Leader SMSTM software will be an added advantage.
- Track record of managing projects and achieving goals. Duties
- Conducting exploratory, reconnaissance and detailed soil surveys.
- Creating soil classification maps and writing reports.
- Agricultural spatial data management.
- Working with the agronomic field team.
- Translating raw data into agricultural solutions.
