Bookkeeper - Benoni, South Africa - Ann Swann Personnel
Description
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the company's budget, including preparing budget reports and monitoring spending
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role (up to Trail-Balance)
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices
- Experience with SAGE or similar accounting software
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education:
- Matric / Grade 1
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field.
