About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented cleaner to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Dust and clean bathrooms, kitchen, office contents, meeting rooms, training rooms, staff dining, and leisure areas.
Clean doors, glass partitioning, inside walls, floors, and carpets.
Remove rubbish, wash kitchen floors and counter tops.
Clean brass items and maintain cleanliness of outdoor concrete surfaces and paving.

Weekly Tasks:

Dust and damp clean blinds, polish doorknobs, wash glass doors inside and outside.
Polish wooden furniture, vacuum fabric-covered parts, polish brass items.
Wash walkways, clean cupboards, and fridges.

Monthly Tasks:

Wash windows inside and outside.

Ongoing Tasks:

Supply and manage all required cleaning consumables and chemicals.
Ensure compliance with South African Bureau of Standards and OHSA requirements.
Maintain security identification for all employees.
Conduct training and provide replacements for absent staff.

Requirements

Experience in professional cleaning services.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
