    Description

    Job Title: Administrator Pharmacy

    Medipost Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and self-driven individual to join their Special Meds Department as an Administrator Pharmacy.

    The successful candidate will be based in Gezina, Pretoria, and will be responsible for the following key tasks:

    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to POPI Act regulations and GPP regulatory principles governing pharmacy and personnel.
    • Administrator Rejections: Handle rejections professionally and within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) timelines.
    • Action Diary Management: Manage action diaries and follow up on queries within required timelines.
    • Customer Communications: Respond to incoming calls, handle call center duties, and communicate with patients, prescribers/doctor's rooms, medical schemes, and other service provider networks via email and phone.
    • Order Handling: Process Section 21 orders, request security checks on replacement parcels, and ensure accurate reporting to external service providers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
    • Patient Care: Assist with patient medication orders, follow up on deliveries, and collect prescriptions in Schedule 6 scenarios.

    Requirements and Expectations:

    • Availability: Willingness to work overtime if required by manager.
    • Responsibility: Focused and responsible attitude.
    • Urgency: Sense of urgency due to the nature of the job.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education: Grade 12.

    Experience: Microsoft Office experience advantageous.

    Training: Medipost APP system training, SLA training, company policies and procedures, computer literacy, and ESS.
