Description

• Accountable for the calibration of MMU's and spot checks on benches.
• Responsible for the Quality Pillar, Word Class and Training Standards for the area.
• Accountable for the drawing up of and adherence to Calibrations of MMU's and scales both spring and digital schedules.
• Responsible for drawing up, scheduling and implementation of Quality related training modules for Field Superintendents and MMU Controllers.
• Responsible for maintaining a fast field support service to MMU's at the mine.
• The incumbent will have total expertise in the Quality technology used in the fixed and mobile equipment including:
• Calibration of MMU's and AN( Prill) content checks
• Manufacturing and explosives technology
• Emulsification technology
• Bulk materials handling
• Microprocessor control systems
• Proportional closed loop hydraulic systems
• Control loop dynamics
• The position may be called on from time to time to assist with field support into other regions.
• To assist MMU Controllers with calibration on their respected MMU's.
• Scheduling of vehicles to deliver product to the relevant customers of the region.
