    Description

    Job Title: Fraud Detection Team Lead

     

    Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking

     

    We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage and lead a team of Fraud Detection Analysts and Team Leaders, focusing on rigorous fraud detection while protecting our customers and the bank.

     

    This role will drive the culture of operational excellence while prioritizing customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring high-quality service is provided by the Fraud Detection Analysts and Team Leaders.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    Fraud Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate fraud risks across banking products and platforms.

     

    Leadership: Manage and lead a team of Fraud Detection Analysts and Team Leaders, promoting operational excellence and customer service.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 8-10 years experience in all facets of the banking service environment, including products, processes, and systems, with expertise in fraud risk management.
    • Experience in a leadership role in fraud or similar environments.

     

    Additional Requirements:

    • Comprehensive knowledge of transactional systems, processes, and procedures in the industry.
    • Ability to analyze and problem-solve, with knowledge of relevant legislation within the banking context.
    • Ability to analyze situations and issues, identify options, draw logical conclusions, and make sound recommendations using good judgment and strategic thinking.
    • Knowledge of dealing with client-relevant legislation and how it is implemented in a banking environment.
