Recruiting a Head of Strategy Management Consultant- Oversee delivery of client SME development strategies and conceptualize innovative products which position EdgeGrowth as trusted advisors to existing and new clients
- Independently oversee delivery of strategies which position EdgeGrowth as a trusted advisor to existing and new clients and;
- Create onsell opportunities into our core business
- Develop cross functional products required to retain and enhance EdgeGrowth's market
- Drive feasibility studies for adjacent opportunities or strategic partnerships
- Build and manage a network of trusted associates to call upon for specific opportunities
- Facilitate a classic strategy process which results in an a customized, relevant, and articulated ESD/SME development strategy for corporate clients
- The strategy should clearly show how the strategy aligns to the clients broader business objectives, translates into a set of initiatives, implementation plans and budget
- Translate the articulated strategy in a proposal scope for EdgeGrowth
- Support the product team in conceptualizing the operating model required to implement the recommendation from the strategy which could be new funds, programmes or a
- Build holistic solutions to client needs which combine offering from various edge BU's
- Conceptualize cross functional products needed for EdgeGrowth to remain a thought
- Oversee the delivery of multiple strategies in parallel
- Build and oversee a network of contractors to deliver client strategies
- Facilitate effective client decision making
- Systemetise the strategy processes so that it can be delivered by others in future
- Conduct internal training to the broader EdgeGrowth business
- Strategy consulting problem solving toolkit e.g., structured thinking and communication, endtoend ownership, team management
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders independently
- Ability to enable corporate decision making through facilitating a structured process
- Ability to drive a consultative selling process
- Navigating through uncertainty
- Honours degree with strong problem solving and quantitative underpinning (e.g. Engineering, Business Science)
- CA or CFA with an MBA being advantageous
- Formal training in strategy consulting, leadership, SDG's
- Experience in Strategy consulting at an early senior manager or experienced manager role
- Experience in the ESD, SME Development
Salary:
R150, R170,000.00 per month
