    Job Title

    A unique opportunity to experience a one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel brand as part of the HYDE Johannesburg Rosebank team.

    The hotel is a festival-inspired food lovers' paradise and showcase for music and nightlife, featuring 131 rooms with natural textures and artisan touches.

    The property boasts 3 restaurants and bar outlets, all highly programmed to provide an exceptional guest experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Sales Executive, you will be the principal liaison between Operations and 3rd Party Distributors (OTAs, STOs, Wholesalers, PCOs, Travel Agents).

    You will take responsibility for positioning the business and its services in the marketplace to maximize occupancy at the highest possible rate.

    This role involves close collaboration with Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort between Sales, Reservations, and Operations.

    You will conduct comprehensive site surveys in our properties to showcase our offerings to interested parties.

    Additionally, you will ensure timely deliveries of up-to-date Service, Rate, and Promotional/Campaign information to 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTAs, and PCA's for inclusion in their marketing materials.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or Financial Management
    • Extensive background in Sales and Marketing
    • 3 years of experience in Sales operations of a luxury hotel
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and spoken)
    • Proficient user of OPERA
    • Proficient in Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
    • Ability to collect market data for analysis and creation of Market Studies
    • Ability to anticipate future circumstances and requests
    • Proficient in Financial good practice
    • Proficient in managing booking channels
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications
