General Nursing

Preparing an animal for surgery

Administering drugs, anaesthetic injections

Monitoring anaesthetised patients during surgery

Assisting veterinarian in theatre with surgery when needed

Undertaking diagnostic tests

Performing in-house laboratory tests

Taking and sending off laboratory samples

Taking radiographs and preparing for scopes procedures

Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients

Follow-up care which includes bandage change and suture removal

Assisting with pharmacy orders and client communication

Dip/Degree in Veterinary Nursing
SAVC Registration
Updated CPD Points
Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal and Writing
Relationship Building Abilities AND A LOVE FOR ANIMALS
Sales Skills will be an advantage
Valid Driver's License
Fluent in Afrikaans & English

Between 0 & 1 Year
