Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on a variety of computer systems and devices, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and security issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and backups, to ensure systems are running smoothly.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and other staff members.
  • Keep uptodate with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools.
  • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 35 years of experience working as a technician in a PC store or related environment.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with data recovery and forensic analysis is a plus.

Salary:
R20, R30,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
