    Description

    The role is required for support on Civil infrastructure that impacts Solar, Wind and BESS. The role would ensure that designs comply with all local legislative requirements and will ensure that designs are aligned with the latest competitive design practices in the country.

    What you will do:

    1. Perform feasibility studies, preliminary, basic design and detail design regarding civil works of Renewable plants (Solar, Wind, BESS, green hydrogen);
    2. Design or review the design performed by external consultants for structural works and infrastructural works (roads, earth movement, pavements, drainage systems) according to technical codes;
    3. Carry out due diligence on civil design of Renewable plants;
    4. Review calculation reports, shop drawings, fabrication drawings and shop submittals to support construction;
    5. Plan, execute the civil design activities throughout the entire life cycle of the project inside project teams;
    6. Perform site surveys for various renewable plants both for developing new projects and to support construction on site;
    7. Participate in technical meetings and follow up on the design activities performed by external suppliers;
    8. Prepare technical specifications, BoQ, drawings and other technical contractual documents;

    Who you are:

    1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required. Post-graduation or MSc in Hydraulics or Structural or Transportation is a plus.
    2. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
    3. ECSA registration as a professional is a plus.
    4. Knowledge in Renewables is a plus.
