    Job Purpose

    To be accountable for managing a product or portfolio of products so that the bank achieves its strategic objectives.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Attract and retain clients, increase revenue and returns.
    • Drive the achievement of financial targets.
    • Manage department budget to achieve budgeted targets.
    • Develop business cases that align with strategy.
    • Ensure competitiveness by monitoring market trends and activities and providing strategic inputs for solutions to meet client expectations.
    • Drive profitable client acquisition and retention.
    • Ensure product effectiveness in meeting client needs and manage the risk in product development.
    • Resolve queries from internal and external clients.
    • Support the business and ensure that product delivery meets expectations.
    • Lead the department by driving excellence and building trust.
    • Lead product development and enhancements.
    • Ensure transformational target are met.
    • Contribute to team effectiveness by participating in the recruitment and selection of senior staff.
    • Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI. Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
    • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

    Preferred Qualification

    Post graduate qualification in a business field such as commerce, banking, accounting, sales and marketing

    Minimum Experience Level

    5 years experience in relevant or appropriate role in banking or financial services environment that has provided the types of exposure listed above.
