Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Forestry Sector is looking to employ a Buyer to join their dynamic team in the Mthatha region (45km from Mthatha),


Qualification and Experience:


  • Must possess a matric certificate or equivalent.
  • Must possess a National Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or Logistics Management.
  • Must possess three year's experience of purchasing in a production environment.
  • Manufacturing environment experience will be advantageous.

Skills

  • Must be Computer literacy: MS Office full package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Sound negotiations skills
  • Must possess supervisory skills.
  • Motivational / team building skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable on D365 or a similar ERP system.

Knowledge

  • Must have the ability to train and coach staff.
  • Must have the knowledge and experience to interpret data.
  • Must have a good understanding of financial analysis and costing.
  • Must have experience in management of staff.
  • Must be knowledgeable in implementing discipline.
  • Must understand safety
