Description

Job Duties Draftsman
Create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using computer-aided design software

Collaborate with engineers to ensure that designs meet project specifications and requirements

Review and analyse project documentation to determine accurate and precise drawings and plans

Revise and update drawings as necessary based on project changes or modifications

Create and maintain project files and documentation related to technical drawings and plans

Communicate with project stakeholders to ensure that all parties are aware of project progress and any issues that arise

Ensure that all technical drawings and plans comply with industry standards and regulations

Job Requirements

Education and Training:_

Diploma and or Certificate in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering

Proficient in computer-aided design software, such as Sketchup, Onshape or Solidworks

Skills:_

Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately create technical drawings and plans

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a team of artisans and engineers

Ability to analyse project documentation to determine accurate and precise drawings and plans

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to technical drawings and plans

Experience:_

2-3 years of experience in a drafting or technical drawing role

Experience working on manufacturing projects is preferred
