Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Chemical Operations NQF4 or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
Must have a Higher Certificate in ODETDP.
Minimum 5 years experience as a technical trainer in a Chemical Manufacturing Plant will be required
Must be a qualified Assessor
Proficiency with MS Office suite must be at an intermediate level
Compiling and maintaining training matrices to ensure competence in the specific plant.
Compiling training plans, and budgets based on identified training needs, and required resources.
Developing onthejob training courses, facilitator and assessments guides to meet and maintaining competence in the specific plant.
Scheduling, and coordinating training interventions, venues, attendance registers, and reports on all training processes.
Conducting plant onthejob and technical training interventions.
Carrying out plant task observations on operators to support competence declaration.
Coaching and mentoring learner operators to transfer skills and knowledge.
Reviewing developed training materials for quality assurance in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
Proactively conducting post training on the job evaluations to establish training effectiveness.
Recording and maintaining training system for area of responsibility.
Compiling weekly and monthly training reports to various stakeholders.
