    Business Unit Manager

    Summary:

    This role involves overseeing the entire Business Unit, encompassing sales, administration, finance, workshop, and service department operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with a proven track record in developing and growing market segments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Business Unit's overall performance, focusing on sales, administration, finance, workshop, and service departments.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
    • Motivate, guide, and manage staff to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Optimize stock management and replenishment processes.
    • Employ best practices and effective financial governance to strategically grow the business.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar management position within a comparable or larger organization.
    • Proven success in developing and expanding market segments or advantageous business areas.
    • Relevant qualification in Business Management or a related field is preferred.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and the Syspro System is essential.
    • Strong human relations skills, leadership abilities, and sound understanding of Labour Relations.
    • Sales expertise, including SPI – Sales methodology & IRAS platform management.

    Leadership Attributes:

    • Effective problem-solving and key leadership traits such as coaching and mentoring.
